The short ribs are a local favorite. Further down Main Street, you’ll find the Blue Moon Grill. This unpretentious establishment is a must for brunch. While there, be sure to order their eggs benedict or french toast. Continue south to find Cibo Cafe & Bistro, a fun Italian restaurant perfect for coffee, pastries, and sandwiches - with a drive-thru option! For more traditional Italian fare, head to Tonno. This trendy, chic restaurant serves terrific pasta dishes and boasts an extensive and impressive wine list.
 

Things to Do

Wakefield residents regularly enjoy a mix of outdoor activities and community events. Lake Quannapowitt is a hub for Wakefield residents, with families walking the circular trail around the lake, kayaking, and fishing. The lake is also the location of Wakefield’s impressive 4th of July fireworks display and coordinating parade. Festival by the Lake is another popular community event, with live music, local artists, and vendors offering premium food and drink.  

You’ll find many residents visiting the Wakefield Farmers Market every Saturday from mid-June to late October. The market hosts as many as 35 vendors each week and offers freshly grown local produce, homemade pastries, and locally produced sauces and spices. Once you’ve stocked up on treats, take your furry family members to the Wakefield Dog Park. It’s a great place to meet fellow dog owners and their adorable canine companions.
